  • 11:30-12:15 Homesick Mac - Sandén guitars

    Let's kick it off with some old time music - blues, country, hillbilly, Homesick Mac is opening his "Get" Acoustic" workshop!

    Homesick Mac has been playing Sandén Guitars since 1995, cooperating with Michael Sandén on many occasions - trade shows, music fairs, co-arranging acoustic guitar festivals, travelling through Scandinavia, Germany, England, Scotland, Ireland…

    Mac will be presenting several of the new Sandén models (Roots Series) as well as his own custom made SRB and Baritone signature model guitars.
    Business as usual - blues, hokum, folk, hillbilly country and more will be performed.

    We'll talk musicianship, Andreas' choice of guitars, equipment, accessories, we might pick a lick or two..
    Andreas will be answering any questions you might have.

    Andreas Rydman bio:

    Musician and composer Andreas Rydman was born and raised in the village of Granö, in the middle of the woods of north Sweden. He grew up listening to the music of Elvis and Chuck Berry and was immediately drawn to the guitar playing. In his early teens he discovered AC/DC, Van Halen and Jimi Hendrix and decided to pick up a guitar and become a guitarist. 

    Since then Andreas has played with many of Swedens most highly acclaimed artists such as Ane Brun, Tommy Nilsson, Jonas Knutsson and many more.  He has also released a highly acclaimed solo album named Simply amplified.
    Besides acoustic and electric guitar Rydman plays, Dobro, Weisenborn, lap steel and steel guitar.

    Andreas has toured all over the world playing in over 50 countries. Writing and playing in different projects, Andreas found himself often drawn to blues and roots music. Co-writing Country music songs introduced him to the Americana style with influences such as Brad Paisley, Sonny Landreth, Bill Frisell, to name a few.

    Roland /BOSS have a long history with Homesick Mac. No real affiliation more than that he's been using the products since the early 80's starting with the trusty JC-120 amp, loads of effect pedals and preamps etc.
    It's always pleasant to meet the people from this company and we'll be presenting some of the products dedicated to acoustic guitar players.

    Jojje Wadenius doesn't need any special presentation, he is a true music institution in Sweden as well as abroad (

    Down to earth and experienced as few, Jojje Wadenius will be interviewed with his guitar in his hands, answering questions about music, life and his guitar playing.

    On your way home from the FUZZ Guitar Show Day1!

    Let's round up the first day with a crash course in basics of playing slide on an acoustic guitar. Homesick Mac will be showing the techniques and types of slides, talk standard vs. open tunings and so on. Come and watch, borrow a Sandén acoustic and play a lick or two, ask questions - Slide guitar Q & A!
